Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Montas-FX Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist. It works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger called leukotriene. This reduces inflammation (swelling) in the airways and nose and improves symptoms.
